We accidentally went into the wrong Hacienda hotel first.there is one nearby. The staff was very friendly and someone camr to pick us up to bring us to the other hotel. The restaurant was fairly good.
The shower was cold and also the tv was not working in our room.

Ope, had a real nice time right in the heart of Puno. The balcony view of the plaza was just fabulous, especially with all the parades happening! The staff was super friendly and even prepped us packed lunches for our early bus. Breakfast was decent too-had a great variety!

The location is fantastic, offering fine plaza views! The breakfast buffet was one of the best experiences we had in South America! Supernice and neat, with friendly staff who are always willing to assist.
Unfortunately, our room missed natural light and was poorly lit. The heating systems struggled to keep up.

Very good location (Plaza de Armas). Even my room overlooking the main square was very quiet and the view of the cathedral was simply wonderful!
I booked for 2 nights, but the hotel staff told me that there had been a "problem with the system" and they don't have vacation for the second night. They were trying to help me with finding another hotel, but I preferred doing so myself.

I almost thought about giving this hotel a decent review, but the lack of hot water and the dusty furniture ruined it. And don't even get me started on breakfast, the coffee was abysmal! Woudl ve been nice to recieve some special treatment for my troubles, but alas, i was treated like everyone else. So disappointing.

The balcony room provided a great view of the street, perfect for catching local festivities. Breakfast options were decent and offered a good variety.
The heating system was unreliable. Bathroom ventilation issues led to lingering odors, and noise from a mechanical pump disturbed sleep. Some rooms faced the interior, limiting natural light and fresh air access.

New, great location with some rooms overlooking the Plaza de las Armas, very friendly staff, comfortable warm (almost too warm) rooms and beds, bathrooms with good bath and in one triple an amazing shower with jets and radio that wowed the kids!). Breakfast buffet was varied and pleasant. Free coca and other teas 24x7. The posted room rates in reception are high but the Booked.net discounts are currently superb and make this an absolute stand out choice in Puno. Being in Plaza de las Armas puts you on re centre of things for restaurants or seeming regular parades and activitie in te plaza, everything close or easy walking distance. The lake is quite a few blocks away with only a few expensive hotels that are out of the city. In Puno, it seems better to be in the centre. We took a taxi for two hours for 30sol to go out and visit the yavari - interesting old gun boat brought in pieces from England and assembled in 1860s, and to the Puma hillside viewpoint for great city and lake views and we did a great two day island trip when you see plenty of the lake!!
